Signs Of Life
It has been 14 years since the Waldo Canyon fire and the scars still remain. That being said, there are signs of healing. The patches of new green plants and trees are nestled in between the dead wood and will someday replace the burned remains.
Healing is rarely a fast process, and it isn't a return to how things used to be. The scars are still here, but they no longer define the horizon. Instead, they stand as witnesses to a world that is designed to come back to life, one green leaf at a time.
