Exploring Behind Pikes Peak

This morning I decided to take a drive into the backcountry behind Pikes Peak. It’s amazing how quickly you can leave the busyness of the city and find yourself surrounded by silence, winding roads, and landscapes that seem untouched.

There’s something grounding about drives like this—just you, the road, and the quiet beauty of creation. It reminds me that not every adventure has to be a big trip or a long hike; sometimes simply taking the time to wander a little off the beaten path is enough. Peaceful drive, beautiful landscapes. Honestly, what more could you ask for?
