Much Needed Moisture

We’ve had such a dry winter, and in this part of the world, that dryness always brings a heavy risk of fire. Seeing this storm finally roll in felt like much needed moisture for the dry land.

My daughter and I were the only ones at Lake Manitou, taking in that kind of mountain quiet. Everything is still brown and feels almost lifeless right now, but the snow brings a sudden brightness to the scene. The bridge felt like an entryway into what God has made—a reminder of the beauty in how it’s all designed.
