The Anatomy Of Response
Transcending the noise to find the Stillness.
The same God who designs the landscapes I love is the same God who meets us exactly where we are. Today, I traded the wide-angle views for the intimate responses. Not because the view is better, but because the story is deeper.
I’ve found that stripping away the color helps strip away the world, too. It brings an intimacy you can’t get any other way; it forces the eye to focus on the grit of the water and the quiet of a prayer.
By stepping out of the equation, I get to be a silent witness to what is really happening—no posing, no performance. Just the focus of a heart meeting its Creator.
Freedom looks like a new beginning. Faith looks like staying still, silent, and hopeful.
